Update on Remote Learning - 7/21/20

Hello everyone! This is an update to our orchestra plans following Dr. Null's announcement for the school year on Jul. 20.

Remote Learning

• With ConroeISD's announcement, we will learn more music "on our own". This means:
  • Recorded playing tests on CharmsBlue for major grades
  • Remote learners will watch instructional videos on the days corresponding to their on-campus schedule
  • For Chamber and Symphony, we will still plan to have sectionals to prepare for any concerts that may happen.

Summer Orchestra

• Summer orchestra will happen but the freshmen camp has changed! Mr. Larsen will continue to be adamant and inflexible when it comes to sanitization and masks.
  • ​FRESHMEN IN CHAMBER/SYMPHONY: only go to your orchestra session EXCEPT for Friday. Come Friday at 9:00 - 11:00am as well as your orchestra session (Friday will be the day Mr. Larsen checks your instrument).
  • FRESHMEN IN PHILHARMONIC/CAMERATA/SINFONIETTA: summer orchestra will only be from Monday - Thursday mornings at 9:00 - 11:00am.
